Things ya might wanna know

  • All the time. Please, get me out of my writing room (and into yours).

I offer many different formats for small and large events. Shoot me an email (I won’t see an Instagram DM in time).

  • In the streets, 3-7 minutes.

At my desk, custom poems take about 30-60 minutes, sometimes evolving through 2-5 revisions.

  • My goal is always to write the poem within 5-7 days from the time your order is placed. I ship orders M-W-F.

If you need a poem sooner, I have a "Rush” option in the shipping tab, which is guaranteed to hit the mail in 3 days or less (though I can’t guarantee an arrival date or time).

  • In a sentence, my muse is the messiness that we humans simply cannot resist.

Love, heartbreak, grief. Regret vs. Gratitude.

    Grit, resistance, praise. The pauses.

    The eye of the storm.

Simplicities’ war on confusion. Doubts’ slippery tactics

Sunny things & the sounds of the world. All those adventures and all that delicious pain.

Also, dogs, trespassing, and talking to crazy people.

  • I’ll gladly write about anything - just be aware that I don’t always aim for clean morals and happy endings.

Let it be said that I can’t write honorably under the pressure/expectation that I can make traumatic things feel better, I guarantee I’ll make you feel, and hopefully even cause some new peace and healing to erupt, and I’m aiming for that - but my writing cracks hearts open at least as often as it mends broken hearts.

Also, I’m not interested in writing about politics. But if you insist, expect the piece to lean into the philosophy of freedom, power struggles, individualism, and control.

  • This is a common skepticism. I hold myself to a higher standard than being a fleshy copying machine.

That said, I’m highly committed to my voice and style. My vocabulary and phrases are part of who I am. Anything I repeat through my work is intended to anchor my identity and legacy as a poet.

  • I’d rather die than write you something cliche.

I’d rather write you something that burns than risk writing something cold and lifeless that rhymes.

  • Rage, rage against the rising of AI.
